Vicki Lee is a native of New Orleans. She received a BS degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and practiced accounting for many years. After retiring from the profession, she began studying painting at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. Her abstract paintings follow the basic principles of composition including the aesthetic placement of shape, color, texture, line and form. In 2012 she began experimenting with encaustic wax and has developed a unique style of harmonizing wax, pastels and oil sticks into seascapes and abstract designs.
